Dr. Bruce Fong
Internal medicine physician with over three decades of integrative clinical practice. Dr. Fong has spent his career at the intersection of conventional diagnostics and alternative treatment — building protocols that work when everything else has failed.
His Philosophy
Dr. Fong believes that every patient deserves a physician who will look beyond the lab reference range. The question is not whether a test result falls within "normal limits" — it is whether that result is optimal for you. Chronic illness does not appear overnight, and it cannot be diagnosed in a fifteen-minute appointment. His approach is methodical, thorough, and built on the conviction that the body has a remarkable capacity to heal when given the right support.
Over his career, he has treated thousands of patients with complex, multi-system conditions — Lyme disease, chronic fatigue, autoimmune disorders, heavy metal toxicity, and environmental sensitivities. He has built clinical protocols that span IV therapy, immune peptide therapy, glyoxal oxygen therapy, detoxification, homeopathic medicine, and nutritional restoration — always guided by lab evidence rather than guesswork.
Background
Dr. Fong earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and holds a Homeopathic Medical Doctor certification — a combination that places him among a very small number of physicians practicing full-scope integrative medicine in the United States. He established Sierra Integrative Medical Center in Reno, Nevada in the early 1990s, serving patients from across the country and around the world who had run out of options elsewhere.
He has been featured in national media as a leading voice in integrative and environmental medicine, and has trained alongside pioneers in the field. His clinical protocols are informed by decades of direct patient care — not theory, not trends, but the real, lived outcomes of patients who came to him sick and left well.

Clinical Background
Sammy spent over twelve years in surgical and PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) settings at Renown Regional Medical Center — one of Nevada's largest and busiest hospitals. That environment demanded precision, rapid clinical judgment, and the ability to manage complex, critically ill patients in real time. It is a foundation she carries into every integrative consultation.
She holds her Advanced Practitioner of Homeopathy (A.P.H.) certification and has practiced classical homeopathy for more than a decade. Her work at Sierra Integrative bridges the gap between the acute-care rigor of conventional nursing and the deep, constitutional healing that homeopathy provides.

Sammy is known by patients for her warmth, thoroughness, and the care she brings to every interaction. She takes the time to understand each patient's full story — their history, their symptoms, the treatments they have already tried. New patients are typically seen within 2–4 weeks. Initial consultations are $550; labs and treatments are quoted separately. Remote consultations with Dr. Fong are available for out-of-state patients.
